The Great Dorset Steam Fair

Dorset is lucky enough to house the world largest steam fair event in the world, and it attended each year by well over 200,000 visitors from all over the world.

This year, the Steam Fair celebrates its 40th year, and is held over the following dates, 27th August 2008 - 31st August 2008.

The show grows each year with an estimated 2000 working exhibits, 200 working steam engines and 100 fairground organs spread over the 600 acre showground.
